Ugly Betty is an ABC TV series. The story revolves around a girl from a lower middle class family, Betty Suarez. Her collegues at the high end fashion magazine MODE - where Betty works as an assistant to the editor - call her Ugly Betty simply because she doesn’t conform to the slim, picture-perfect standards of their world.

Ugly Betty, the show, follows the daily life of Betty as she teams up with her boss to fight her way into the magazine.
